
Christine Finn
Christine Finn was born in Jersey, Channel Islands, in 1959, and has lived in the UK, Italy, Ireland, and Silicon Valley. She was a print and TV journalist before studying archaeology and anthropology at Oxford University, where she then wrote her doctorate on poetry and archaeology. Now writing a follow-up to "Artifacts", she is a journalist and a BBC broadcaster, a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries, and holds Honorary fellowships at Bristol and Bradford Universities in the UK. She is co-editor of two books on archaeology and the arts, and last year was Visiting Professor of Art at Oberlin College, Ohio.
Christine travels extensively, linking science and art across a variety of media from sculpture to digital film. Her writing has appeared in publications including the Guardian, New Scientist, the Sunday Times Magazine, and Readymade.
