Take Highway 101 North to the Shoreline Blvd/Middlefield Road exit. At the light, turn left onto N. Shoreline Blvd. Turn right into the first driveway. Parking extends to the back of the Museum.

From the north bay...

Take Highway 101 South to the Shoreline Blvd. exit. At the light, turn left onto N. Shoreline Blvd. and then drive back over the freeway. After passing through the next intersection (La Avenida), turn right into the first driveway. Parking extends to the back of the Museum.

From the east bay (via Highway 92)...

Take Highway 92 west to Highway 101 South. Exit at Shoreline Blvd. At the light, turn left onto N. Shoreline Blvd. and then drive back over the freeway. After passing through the next intersection (La Avenida), turn right into the first driveway. Parking extends to the back of the Museum.

From the east bay (via Highway 237)...

Take Highway 237 west to Highway 101 North. Exit at Shoreline Blvd/Middlefield Road. At the light, turn left onto N. Shoreline Blvd. Turn right into the first driveway. Parking extends to the back of the Museum.

From southern California...

If you will be coming up I-5, take I-5 north to I-580 heading west towards San Francisco. When you get to the I-680 interchange, take I-680 south to Highway 237 (Calaveras Blvd.) and head west towards Mountain View. Exit onto Highway 101 north towards San Francisco. Take the Shoreline Blvd/Middlefield Road exit. At the light, turn left onto N. Shoreline Blvd. Turn right into the first driveway. Parking extends to the back of the Museum.

If you will be coming up US 101, take US 101 north to Mountain View. Exit at Shoreline Blvd/Middlefield Road. At the light, turn left onto N. Shoreline Blvd. Turn right into the first driveway. Parking extends to the back of the Museum.

From northern California...

If you will be coming down I-5, take I-5 south to I-580 heading west towards San Francisco. Driving in from another state...

If you're coming from the south, follow these directions.

If you're coming from the north, follow these directions.

If you're coming from the east, you'll probably want to take either I-80 to I-5 south, in which case you should follow these directions, or I-15/I-40/I-10 to I-5 north, in which case you should follow these directions. Happy driving!

Flying...

The optimal airport to arrive in is Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC), which is an approximately 10 minute ride to the Computer History Museum. Alternatively, you can arrive at San Francisco International Airport (SFO), which is an approximately 30 minute ride to the Computer History Museum. Lastly, you may opt to fly in to Oakland International Airport (OAK) which is an approximately 45 minute ride to the Computer History Museum.

Walking or taking public transit...

Unfortunately, there is no public transit on weekends to the Computer History Museum. Your best bet is to post a message to the VCF 7.0 BBS Carpool Discussion message base to arrange a ride with another attendee.
